Hi! I’m Jackie, and I’m a piano teacher here in Van Nuys. I work with kids of all ages — even total beginners — to help them learn to play songs, read music, and have fun making music on the piano.
Here’s what you can expect when you take piano lessons with me:
🎹 We’ll start simple
You don’t need to know anything when you start. I’ll show you where to put your fingers and how to read music (kind of like reading a secret musical language!). You’ll learn easy songs first, and then we’ll build from there.
🎶 We’ll make music together
Sometimes we’ll play duets, try some improv, or even write our own little songs. Mistakes are totally fine — that’s how we learn!
🎯 You’ll get better every week
If you practice a little bit every day (even 10–15 minutes), you’ll be amazed at how fast you improve. Want to level up even faster? Practice twice a day. Your brain will thank you!
🎤 You’ll get to share your music
We might make a video, record a song, or even play in a recital. It’s a great way to show your family how far you’ve come — and to be proud of all your hard work.
🎵 We’ll keep it fun
We’ll play some games, learn about famous musicians, and explore different styles of music. Piano lessons don’t have to be boring — they should be something you look forward to.
